Dexter tracks Harrison to New York City, where he finds his son working as a bellhop after Harrison killed someone. Dexter also investigates a serial killer who targets rideshare drivers, while also keeping tabs on Harrison. The episode introduces a new serial killer using the alias "Dark Passenger" and wearing a "Camera Shy" hoodie designed to obscure their identity from cameras. Dexter also finds himself entangled with Blessing, a chatty Uber driver, and his friend who survived an encounter with the killer.
