It's classics week, and T is taking a look at the original Firestarter in anticipation of the remake coming out at the end of of May
As youths, Andy McGee (David Keith) and his future wife, Vicky (Heather Locklear), participated in secret experiments, allowing themselves to be subjected to mysterious medical tests. Years later, the couple's daughter, Charlie (Drew Barrymore), begins to exhibit the ability of setting fires solely with her mind. This volatile talent makes the youngster extremely dangerous and soon she becomes a target for the enigmatic agency known as "The Shop."
And with the recent release of Netflix Video Game Horror, Choose or Die, T also takes a look at the mid 2000s video game horror, Stay Alive
Teenagers decide to pass idle time by playing an online game that has a horror theme. But the action taking place on their computer screens becomes a terrifying reality when they realize that each time a character dies during the game, the figure's human overseer dies as well.

Back in 2007, T got a job working at Blockbuster and that fall, a series of movies began to come in for the employees to preview.
The "8 Films to Die For", the tagline for the Afterdark Horrorfest, a independent film festival where AfterDark films presented a number of acquired films all in the horror genre.
They ran for a number of years starting in 2006 until most recently in 2015, but T had an urge to revisit these movies, so we begin!
